This is where we discuss figure skating and skating related items. How did you favourite skaters perform, and so on? However we never speculate on the private lives of skaters, like who might be going out with whom, because that is poison and is not tolerated here. A good guideline is that if it's not publicly announced, in the papers etc. then it's probably best to leave it alone. Is it a gray area? Then write to me and ask.

Skate America was the final event in the Senior GP and as each of the disciplines was completed we found out who the 6 qualifiers and 3 alternates were in each one.
The question now, of course, is will any of the qualifiers opt out of competing, especially with the need to fly to Japan in this very busy Olympic season.
Qualifiers and alternates for the Junior Grand Prix Final which will also take place in Nagoya:

It is being reported today that Boyang Jin of CHN is out of the men's GPF event due to his ankle injury. First alternate Jason Bates of the USA is IN. This is confirmed on the updated list of entries:

The first day of the GPF competition is done - did anyone watch any of it? I'm away from home and staying with a friend so haven't been able to watch.
