How sad that David has passed away. I think he was a kind person based on what others have said about him. He was a tortured individual and alcoholic, but so was his father. It's unfortunate that his life ended so tragically. At the end he needed a liver transplant. He was my first teen idol even before Donny Osmond. Whatever you think of David Cassidy, "I Think I Love You" will always be a classic.

Sadly, he announced last year that he was suffering from dementia, something that his mother and a grandparent had also suffered from, and something he had been anticipating Medically, I doubt that there would have actually been approval for a liver transplant, had there been time before his death.

Yes, I thought the same thing about the liver transplant. Chances are his dementia was drug/alcohol related as well, especially as it came so young. My grandfather experienced an early dementia though and in his case it seemed to be Alzheimer's. It's really very tragic. I brought out my Hallmark Christmas ornament of the Partridge Family bus in his memory. Well, I have learned over the years, having clinical depression in my family, that people with that infliction are of often the nicest and most sensitive people.
